Athletics

Phil Jackson, '67, HON ’08:

β€œThe reality is there is a pioneer kind of spirit in this area, this state, this Northern Plains I think is notable. [UND] has provided great athletes – professional players in hockey, basketball and football, and in other sports. It is remarkable for a small populated area so I think the state is taking great pride in it and people watch and notice it. [Athletics] is what really built the spirit around this university.”

UND Athletics is committed to moving the University from great to exceptional. Share your spirit and partner with us. When you invest, our programs will become instant contenders in Division I competition. This is because we build complete programs at UND that ensure both academic and athletic excellence for our more than 450 world class student-athletes.
